The Ausstellungsraum Klingental is run as an association. The members of the association elect a board, which is then responsible for the exhibition programme and conducts business on behalf of the association as a whole.  

The exhibition space co-operates together with the Kaserne studio co-operative and mediates together with Pro-Kasernenareal on the development of the Kaserne Basel.
